Kinney Zalesne is the founder and CEO of Zalesne LLC, which advises CEOs on their personal strategic positioning. She is also the co-author of the 2007 New York Times bestseller "Microtrends: The Small Forces Behind Tomorrow's Big Changes", and of the Wall Street Journal column of the same name. Following the success of Microtrends, Kinney did a lot of radio and TV and was a sought-after keynote speaker both in the U.S. and abroad.
Kinney also served as a strategist to Hillary Clinton in the early months of her Presidential bid, and as an executive at two national social-change organizations (College Summit, which helps low-income kids go to college, and Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Life on Campus). In the 1990s, she was Counsel to Attorney General Janet Reno, a White House Fellow with Vice President Gore, and an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia. She now lives in Washington DC with her husband and their 3 children.
Kinney is an honors graduate of Yale College and Harvard Law School.
